Couple plead guilty to sexually abusing school children
Instead of going to trial Monday, a Piney Point Elementary fifth-grade teacher and her husband pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting school children and decided to let the judge determine their fate after a pre-sentence investigation.
Brandy Lynn Gonzales, 28, sobbed quietly as she pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child.
She faces a possible punishment of five to 99 years or life in prison when state District Judge Michael McSpadden sentences her in October.
Prosecutors said Gonzales lured five boys from her classes into sexual acts at movie theaters, her apartment and even her classroom.
At least one student was taken to her apartment, where he was sexually assaulted by Gonzales and her husband, Johnny Ray Gonzales, 33, said Assistant Harris County District Attorney Denise Oncken.Continued here:

I'll bet she claimed her husband made her do it...
