The Katy-area woman who was arrested by Waco authorities last week for having sex with a middle school student has been released from jail on bond.
Tara Allison Hodges, 26, was released from the McLennan County Jail in Waco late last week after posting a $300,000 bond on charges of sexual assault of a child and improper relationship between educator and student. Both are second-degree felonies.
Hodges, who had been a middle school special education teacher for the Waco Independent School District, is alleged to have had sex with one of her students, a 14-year-old boy, on at least 10 occasions at her Lake Shore Drive apartment in Waco. She is also alleged to have smoked marijuana with the boy on at least one occasion.
The incidents occurred between June 6 and July 26, when she moved to Katy to accept a teaching job at Mayde Creek Junior High School. She would have started her new job in two-and-a-half weeks.

Note from Gag:
How dare they say she smoked marijuana with that kid! From the looks of her picture, it's obvious she prefers crack instead.
